 click to return View from Foia to Portimao A challenging subject, as there seemed to be no focal point, but many different interesting things going on; patterns and shapes to explore. The view is one I see en route to Monchique, it is often misty, which is an aspect I wanted to bring into the painting to some extent. This is why some of the farther away shapes appear to be floating on the mist and trees. oil on canvas 60 x 60 cm 2010 €650
